Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival: Weekend Getaway (Oct. 12 – 14, 2012)

Let’s take a road trip down to Delaware for the 23nd Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival (www.rehobothjazz.com) on October 12-14, 2012. This is going to be an excellent weekend getaway of Smooth Jazz, good food, and great company.

Here’s our tentative itinerary for this exciting meetup:

*Friday October 12th: Travel down to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware (the trip will take approx. 4hours from NYC)

Upon arrival at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, check-in to the Atlantis Inn. Our hotel will be in downtown Rehoboth, a short walk to restaurants, boardwalk area and near most of the concert venues. For more information about the Atlantis Inn visit; www.atlantisinn-rehoboth.com

The remainder of the evening will be free for you to explore the area, or to independently attend one of the evening concerts.

*Saturday October 13th: Spend the early part of the day meeting up with fellow Jazz lovers before we attend the official “Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival Happy Hour” featuring the Urban Jazz Coalition. (5:30-7pm)

7:30PM – We’ll attend the performance of the “Rehoboth Beach All-Stars”, featuring Gerald Albright, Marc Antoine, Alex Bugnon, Eric Darius, Matt Marshak, Brian Simpson, Maysa, and Phil Perry

*Sunday October 14th: Enjoy a few free hours in this beach resort town before returning home. Perhaps you will attend the 2012 Super All Star Smooth Jazz Grand Jam or hit a Outlet malls before our return to NYC

The cost for this weekend will be $289 per person (based on double occupancy). This will include two nights accommodations at the Atlantis Inn, the Rehoboth Jazz Festival Happy Hour, and ticket to the “Rehoboth Beach All-Stars” concert. Transportation is not included.

The payment schedule for this event will be as follow:

Deposit of $79 (Non-Refundable) is due immediately to reserve your place.
$110 payment will be due on August 1st. / Final Payment of $100 is due by September 15, 2012.

** Tentative Plan for Jazz Lovers that need transportation to Delaware from New York City area:

We have set up an alternative for group members in need of transportation from NYC area via a Luxury Mini-bus. This package will cost $489, which will include roundtrip transportation, two night accommodations, plus the Happy Hour & Rehoboth Beach All-Stars concert.
